Wow! Phew!

Now where was I ...

oh yeah, appreciate all that you said there mkcerusky. Interesting what you say about the coach Sacchi, because of course all Aussies know that without Guus Hiddink we would not have played half as well, and would have been lucky to win any games. A good coach must be worth their weight in gold. Roberto Baggio was indeed a fantastic player and I used to watch him when I was in England at the time.

You might be surprised to hear that a number of my mates reckoned that the best team won on the night, and that if we couldn't score against 10 men then that was that.

And yes all the Italian players were very sporting and it was a great game to watch from that aspect alone. Very different to the Croatian babies.

On a different note I have just this minute come away from the TV reporting 5 or 6 retired judges have been convened to hear match fixing charges that have laid against several major teams like Juventus, Inter Milan etc.

Cricket will take a long time to forget the actions of Hanse Cronje. This is a sad day for Italian soccer and I hope that it comes down to being due to only a few players. The amount of money kicking around is wild and with the amount the players receive legitimately I am disappointed they feel the need to cheat like that (assuming the allegations are proven).
