i presume you mean the weather - or maybe the politics :-)
egypt must have more undiscovered sites, its a treasure trove to be sure. and still so much to find out - even debate about the timeframe of dynasties. I guess most assume that because of carbondating that we know exactly when pharoahs ruled.
