However, taking this definition, the italian democracy was more in danger with berlusconi, as he could influence unfairly the eletionships with hes televisions and newspapers (remember that he is the only person in Italy who owns television channels that cover the whole country and who owns most of the newspapers; and when he was prime minister he controlled also the 3 public national television channels, so in other words, our democracy was REALLY in danger.
