Religeon is great for those too weak to get by without its crutch.
To say science has proven benefit from prayer is meaningless, and I ponder how that result could have actually have been verifiable at all anyway.
Any agenda can find someone willing to manipulate the data in the proper fashion to accomodate the desired outcome.
Simple minds are easily led.
