Nixon may not have been as entirely complicit in the Watergate affair as some democratic pundits would have you believe. I don't think Watergate would have been as big a deal if the democrats were the ones who broke in, either. Perhaps not remembered as an honest man, Nixon undeniably was a superb statesman, and performed his duties in a time of tremendous upheaval and social change in this country. I had tremendous respect for the man.
