John_Stone, apparently you don't know much about Jesus. Yes he was for peace, but that turn the other cheek was a bit of a misunderstanding. He said, as is the custom, turn the other cheek. The custom was turn the other cheek, but only once, then kick the shit out of them. His point was don't strike back in anger the moment you get smacked, or even the second time. They don't get a third time. The thing about forgiving 70 times 7, that deals with forgivness. Kicking the crap out of nerdowells has nothing to do with forgiveness. You can forgive them after you take of business. NOBODY has the right to opress or enslave another human being. Yes, even your wife. So you can quit beating her now and go back to your bible pounding.
