The US should leave Iraq because Iraq's civil war is going to get bigger. Will the american military accept shooting people on all sides of the war ? Those sides (shia and sunni) of the war don't give a shit about the US military. So you have the Us military killing people who are not an enemy. That is not the business os the US military.

After the December election fiasco (because it occured without a well written constitution) has created contempt for democracy and elections.

You can't unite people who have been fighting for thousands of years overnight. Democracy is not the cure all.

You need to take baby steps with trusted people. Saddam was that person to use. Sure he persecuted Shia but his power in Iraq was immense. Keeping him in power but enticing him (by feeding his ego) to make democratic reforms was the answer.

The situation in Iraq is unttenable. The poor planning for Iraq's future prior to the occuptation has doomed it's future.

But I guess that is par for the course with W. Out late drinking at the bar, missed US and world history classes so he turns in his work in shoddy and disrespectful condition. And expects help from people who's trust he violated.

There is no enemy of the US in the Iraqi people. Therefore the US military must go.

Terrorists were not in Iraq prior to the occuptation. There are not many there now but the ones that are will go elsewhere once the US leaves.
