For there would be no Internet, and depending on your global location, you would be either speaking German or Japanese. Yes before someone point out the obvious, the technology could have still been developed by others than Americans. That is completely true; however, it takes a society like that that exists in the United States to support something like the Internet. And one other thing, america is the name of two large land masses. Mexicans, Canadians, et.al. are also Americans; just as Germans, French, Swiss, and English are all Europeans.
