There is no elected government by ALL of the people in Iraq. That is why there is a civil war going on.
The US is not at war with Terrorists. That is a myth to sell this military action to the american public. Consider yourself suckered.
Islamist Fascism does have an ideology. That is who the US wants to eliminate. However, when you act like a fascist nation (the US) in foreign policy it is hard to take you seriously.
Islamist fascism is simliar to christian evangelism but no one is trying to scorch the earth of those assholes.
