Loud sonic events have been heard off the central California coastline, as well as visual sightings of those unusual contrails described as "soap on a rope" by people who've witnessed them. Many more sightings of odd, diamond shaped aircraft with dim navigation and position lights over the night skies of the Nevada desert are compelling, too.
