None of the "wars against poverty" - started by Demo or Repu - have been wonderful successes. In fact, it really calls into question the whole mentality of starting a "war" against a social problem, now doesn't. I'm serious, why is everything in this USofA framed in terms of "combat"? War this, war that... fighing against, or for... If you read the news carefully, you'll see 'combatative' terms used all the time. Why is this?
