Hmm. Chaos. It was first thought of as simply a loss of precision and the heisenburg uncertainty principle, but scientists are beginning to postulate that maybe it isn't due to simply the inability to predict occurances at certain ranges and this has led to many theories concerning chaos, particularly concerning principles at the quanutm level, though also for the consequences of small changes in the quantum level in systems such as the human heart, the weather and hundreds of other previously overlooked natural processes.

This bifurcation tree represents the results seen in a chemical clock, which is orderred at first and measures a time period (before "doubling"winking smiley, then half that time period (be), etc until the time period is so small that it is affected by the quantum world and becomes extremely chaotic and completely unpredictable.
