I knew when this was posted alot of people would post a comment. Think about both sides. First you have the side to preserve life, which is a good thing, especially since we have the technology to do it. Love is what leaves people hoping for positive results. I was reading where a girl in a comma for 20 years suddendly snapped out of it. I feel the brain does regenerate sometimes, and yes it does take time. I feel her parants should have aright to keep her alive if they so desire. As for her husband, well, he has given up on her and said she would never want to be kept alive artifically, but no one knows for sure. He just wants her to die so he can get it on with his new love. Well, it seems to me, a bill should be brought before the house to allow a divorce under certain circumstances, with this being one of those. As for a right to die, does that rule out suicide? As with the shooter at that small school in Minnesota. I think not. Well consider this, was the doctor of death so far wrong that he helped people who sufferd to end their suffering. If this applies to this poor lady, would not a leathal injection be better than to let her dehydrate? This country is so screwed upi it is pitiful. I think it is time we keep our noses out of the rest of the world and contend with the problems we have in this country. In closing, they have kept her alive for 15 years, what is a few more. Give her a chance.
