I've seen this on the web before. Before the Nazis took possession of the symbol, the swastika was commonly used as a good luck symbol. This is a postcard from the 1920s.
For the Hindus, the symbol represents God. The center represents Visnu, the four lines represent His four arms, and they are bent to show that the path to God isn't always direct.
The picture should have had a little background posted with it. It's more an historical curiosity than a symbol of racism, in this context.
