Yep, this is Baba Yagga's house indeed. That's tale on a common motif. The girl (Vassilisa the Beautiful) is mistreated by evil stepmother who sends her into the dark wood to do some tasks that seem to be impossible. The girl wins favor of Baba Yagga by fulfilling some other (no less easy) tasks, and the old hag helps to bring the stepmother down, to everyone's rejoice.

The point is, the illustration is quite famous in Russia, it's made by a XIX.cent. Modernist artist by the name of Ivan Bilibin. We saw no reasons why it should be out of place on an Australian website. smiling smiley
