I'm pretty sure the chick sitting next to me just farted. I say that because there's only 2 of us in this part of the office at the moment, I didn't do it, and when she got up and walked away there was a sudden smell of shit in the air.
What I like is that she dropped it and THEN walked off. Didn't think of fucking off and doing it somewhere else now, did she? Oh no.. Sharing the love.
Either that or she shat herself and ran off to the bathrooms. Either way ...

I don't think that's really just a first world problem.
My mom in law sets the DVR to record the current show and gives it a few minutes before she starts watching the show, that way she can watch the recorded show as it is recording ahead of what she is seeing and FF though commercials. Works like a charm.
Finally snagged a new AVR and am in love all over again with my music. It's so chocked full of new high tech bells and whistles the manual needs to have a "manual for dummies" addendum.

Where I worked at for over ten years up until Jan. '09 we didn't even have internet access on the computer system, and they still don't. Being a dedicated salaried employee (yuk, yuk, yuk - more dedicated to customer service than the company) I used to do product & information searches at home on my own time on my own PC.
I'm annoyed the weather has been so nice this summer I haven't had to use my new air conditioning

You live too far south, pulse. I live at a latitude comparable to the Brisbane area - bet it can get rather warm & humid there as it does here six or seven months of the year. Definitely use the AC a lot, as recently as a couple of days ago.
I'm currently in Minnesota. It is 0°F at the moment...forecast for monday is record breaking cold...

Yeah, we might get frost here Monday & Tuesday nights. I've lived here 33 years and the coldest I've seen it was 25F or 26F. Saw snow flurries once 24 years ago.
It's supposed to be 23f/-5c tonight and then 18f/-8c the next 2 nights and all the firewood delivery services are too busy to bring me any wood .... Uh! Guess I'll hafta get some from the pile out front
