Hey, Mister Kim.

Nice speakers, man. K-horns? hope so.....

The ipod generation knows not that it knows not. But it's okay. Mo' for us.

I liked the '70's Simon stuff better, but that's just me. Ladysmith Black Moonbozley's nice for a track or two, but past that...naannnyah....

Steely Dan ???? My all time fave band, which wasn't really a band at all, just Donald Fagen. Walter Becker and an everchanging cast of fine studio musicians.

I like the old Simon and Garfunkel years, problee like "The Boxer" and "America" best. As a definite fan of fine poetry, they had some great stuff in those early years and as a kid in the 60s, I was certainly in awe of 'em!

Well, my Klipshes are some 'puter speakers I bought myself for Christmas a few years back, not really the same as their fine horned speakers, but still awesome.

I'm seriously thinkin about finally ditchin my elborate home stereo set up: 100watt per channel JVC digital surround sound receiver, old Technics turntable I haven't used in years now, pair of big Fishers w/12' woofers, another pair of Jensens w/15" woofers and a 3rd pair of Cerwin Vegas with dual 10"s in 'em. While all this gear is nice and will rock the house like a mofo, the Klipshes and a new 280 watt set of Logitechs I picked up for the most recent 'puter I built do too and with much less floorspace required.

Who knows, maybe I'll spread these monster speakers all over the shop and see if I can lift the building off the foundation just for fun smiling bouncing smiley

This mornin I started off with Dido to go with my coffee, Mmmmm .... yummy thumbs down

Ok, so, a bit of music and social commentary thrown together with a definite political agenda melded all together, from The The - "The Beaten Generation":

When you cast your eyes upon the skylines
Of this once proud nation
Can you sense the fear and the hatred
Groing in the hearts of its population

And our youth, oh youth, are being seduced
by the greedy hands of politics and half truths

The beaten generation, the beaten generation
Reared on a diet of prejudice and mis-information
The beaten generation, the beaten generation
Open your eyes, open your imagination

We're being sedated by the gasoline fumes
and hypnotised by the satellites
Into believing what is good and what is right

You may be worshipping the temples of mammon
Or lost in the prisons of religion
But can you still walk back to happiness
When you've nowhere left to run?

Andif they send in the special police
To deliver us from liberty and keep us from peace

Then won't the words sit ill upon their tongues
when they tell us justice is being done
and that freedom lives in the barrels of a warm gun

Gotta love Matt Johnson smileys with beer
