fossil: It is based on your IP, but the last 2 numbers are far from unique.
IP addresses are made up of [0-255].[0-255].[0-255].[0-255]
This means that you could have, say, 75.182.16.16 and end up with a number after your name of 1616. Or you could have 112.58.16.16. Or you could have 203.82.161.6. Etc etc etc.
65535 others will have potentially identical last digits as you (ie 16.16) but with combinations, countless others could have 161.6 or .. whatever. It was more a useful guide to tell one poster apart from another in a single thread.
mine was the entire last two octets (..165.153) which is a class A net addy... Anonymous@165153...
but if i run ifconfig/ipconfig command my ip addy is completely different (class C net addy)if i right click > MyIP (with the MyIP ext in ff) i get that one (..165.153)
