Last night I got the white screen and this morning I get a "website cannot display this page" message. Did DK spill his vodka on the server again?

It may have been PJ, since it also didn't generate a thumb.

Hrm. How to fix.. it's stuck somewhere. Firefox gives white page, IE gives a '500 internal server error'. I'll check the logs

Sorry dude, gif had to go - but it's fixed the upload. Dunno wtf that happened.

We now have another error every time an image is viewed, but at least the site is working now. I'll look into the rest

I replaced the gif file because it was corrupt and the upload checker wouldn't run with yours in there. THEN I deleted it from the gallery

Gallery pages' layout is messed up.

I haven't notice a problem with that. What did it do for you?

All seems right now but about 8 or 10 hours before my comment, in the recent images notation box on the left side my horizontal falls photo had some kind of long script that caused the box to be double it's normal width which made the gallery page extra wide. Then, just as I made the comment, the thumbnail gallery which normally appears toward the right side of the screen was at the bottom of the page and to the left. Strange.

when you click on the 'search' tab, you go to the search page, you then have to click on the box next to 'search for'...the cursor should end up there automatically...

not sure if this goes in this forum topic or in 'first world problems'

I was just spam blocked twice when trying to post a comment to an image. Also, last Friday the site was down for quite awhile, or at least it was for me. Would've been Friday night & early Sat. morning down under.

It was confirmed down by an external test too, wasn't just me and you. For quite a while I was seeing "Unable to Post Comments".

Yep, the DB server crashed. I fixed that, but you were unable to post comments until I did a repair on a couple of tables. The DB server is also our core dns server, so the whole thing stopped working when the DNS cache expired

Need to ensure it doesn't happen again, slightly annoying. Technology eh?

Shit happens, technological or otherwise.

Cookies are delicious

korwyn: Looks like you're viewing the IPv6 version of the site which, upon reflection of your error, may have issues. Are you able to force IPV4 only?

Otherwise I'll have to do some testing.

korwyn: your issue should now be fixed, I've temporarily removed the ipv6 AAAA records from the site - might need a minor code update

thanks for reporting it
