Well, there is not a choice, we both know that, but in a presedential race like
2004, we should pick the one less dangerous. Bush is doing well on economy, look
at the world, oil 65 $ a barrel and our economy is growing more than 4% annual.
I am an economist. I know how fucked up are the markets in Europe. Only history
can say if in 2004 we picked the right one. I know they made a mistake for
rushing to war without a plan after winning it, but they have made that mistake
and they better know how to fix it. If they come out of Iraq today, I bet you in
10 years they will attack us with nuclear weapons. This time we will lose
millions of people.

As for Edwards I have no clue about him or his policies because the media and
the campaign was more focused on Kerry-Bush by the time Edward was added to the
ticket. Aslo I had thrown in the towel by the time the democrats shitted on
Dean. Yes I too had some hope in Dean. I did not know all his policies, but was
interested in finding out at the time. When I heard the Democrats picked Kerry I

Where i am in the USA the economy is worst than ever. I have many many friends
with masters and Ph.Ds that have been jobless for a year. And many of those
degrees were in computer science. We have been hit hard by the outsourcing to
India and China.
So you are an economist. Inform me "how fucked up are the markets in
Europe"? And crude oil being at $65 is not good for the American economy
because the infrastructure is based on trucking especially food and most of the
middle class lives in the suburbs where oil dependacy may cause more collapse.

shattered economies of Hungary and Poland are entering in the Union. And the
Euro is artifically strong while "globalization" (neoliberalism) in
the form of the Union is destroying local unique economies. I was writting and
strongly telling some Europeans in a e-mail recently to focus on their local
economy and beware of the generalized conformity of the EU.

I don't know how it is, but for the first time with high oil prices, inflation
rate is low, there is not stagnation in US economy and it's growing. In 1999
Us's economy started going down. Nobody is guilty for that, but democrates and
republican's have opposite economic policies. Republican's are spenders while
democrate are not. Republican's don't give a fuck to deficit in budget while
democrates do. They are doing a good job to me. I know there are many people
unemployed, but, just last month they added 290000 new jobs to the economy, in
such a messed up world's economy. Germany and france are both fucked. Since
world war two in Germany they have never had such an unemployment rate and I
guess their government will change in September's election.

developed economy like US, 4% is so high, consider this simple equition: Almost
11000 trillion $ is the total size of US economy, consider they adding 4% to
that annually! I don't want to talk about the way that this wealth is being
distribiuted but this is great. Whoever is elected, there still will be
unemployment.
