I agree with you Quasi. Some of the admin/moderators post the soft porn stuff though so it doesn't do much good to bitch about it nor about what is allowed and what gets pulled in general either. Everyone's delicate little 1st amendment toes get stepped on, then the tears and bed-wetting start and Lord knows we can't have any of that.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are images of minors, or images intended to appear to be minors, to be uploaded to this website.
NO EXCEPTIONS! If in doubt - DO NOT UPLOAD- from the 'add image' page...

but I agree that there has been alot of envelope pushing soft porn pics lately...
just treat them as if they were global warming... i.e. nothing you can do about it so stop worrying and enjoy the new weather patterns =)

You're right, it's in the add page but it's bullshit anyway. It also clearly states no adult images yet there they are. I'll bet there are more adult images on this site than there are any of other type. If it's fuck one rule then fuck them all.

BTW, a search here on the word "children" shows 13 "images of minors, or images intended to appear to be minors" and I am sure there are more as that only returns results for images that have the word "children" in the title. A search for "babies" shows 9 more posts of minors. So much for the rules, they've all been broken and continue to be so they're essentially meaningless except for when one moderator or another decides to pull an image for what ever reason or bug they got up their ass.

And how about the "Copyrighted Material is forbidden" one? A large percentage of pics here have obvious copyrights on them. Have any of the moderators pulled any images that have copyright notices on them? I doubt it. So I guess it is fuck all the rules after all.

Carping on endlessly is so unbecoming. If anyone here has a say in what stays or goes it ain't you Blah. If it troubles you so much, post things you like and move on.

In regards to this being different than just about anywhere else on the net, YES it is.

I know of no similar site that runs with the level of respect for truly free speech with so few constraints. If you know of any such site, name it, I haven't found one.

This alone keeps me comin here and problee does others too

I don't think I "carp on endlessly" about it. I've made a few comments about the so called rules over time and I probably will again because the manner in which they are ignored and enforced is stupid. That doesn't mean I think this site is a great steaming pool of horsepiss.

hey blah, it's just like real life...think about how many real life rules are never enforced...
for example; if you are on the freeway and there is a car driving slow in the left lane, as you speed by on the right a cop sees you, stops you and tickets you for speeding...problem? you're goddamn right there's a problem, where's the ticket for that cock-hole in the left lane impeding the flow of traffic and failing to yield the right of way??? it happens everyday...

Tellya what Blah, the next time I feel the need for a censor of any kind, you'll be the 1st one that comes to mind, just don't hold your breath, Ok?

I despise censorship of any kind yet find the terms for this site as the most reasonable form of any such I've ever seen. Any and everyone is allowed to post and say just about anything and yet somehow that seems to bother you, how so?

If you want censored sites where you'll be continuously mollycoddled and you'll never see a sexually stimulating image nor be allowed to read or make any profane, much less profound statements, such sites can be found in abundance. If that's your bag, your requirements are easily met.

If however you prefer to be allowed to post damned near anything, say damned near anything, then plus613 is the ONLY place I can say such freedom exists and I damned well thank DK and Pulse for allowing such a place to exist

I despise censorship, and even more so the mindset behind that which seems to point to anyone but ME deciding what I should or should not be allowed to see or say.

The moralistic, self aggrandizing posturing behind all censorship in general is really nothing short of a control mechanism over others and is usually perpetrated by those who oh-so-thinly do so in claiming they somehow know what's "best" for the rest of us, to which I always have a quick and hearty FUCK YOU at the ready for.

The overarching rules for this site are simple, don't be a racist fuckhead, don't post pics of minors pervs might utilize in gettin their jollies, save the porn images for the other side and don't post anything copyrighted.

I'll admit to having violated only one of the above and that's posting copyrighted pics and IF those pics get yanked I won't whine about it, this ain't my sandbox and I respect that. If the owners of those pics wanna come after me for it, that's cool too, the site's not responsible for what I post here, I am.

In closing, if you wanna apply for a job as censor here Blah, talkin to us users is not your best bet and I can damned well tellya I will never be aligned with your censorship whines, nor will I sit idly by and let you tell me YOU know what's best for me or anyone else except yourself

Do you understand the words that are comin' outa my keyboard? Apparently not. Maybe I'm going about it the wrong way because I'm obviously not being understood.

I am NOT advocating censorship. I am advocating that users try to keep this site unique and interesting. My comments concerning censorship are concerning the censorship that happens here because it is obviously non-linear and haphazard. I am not trying to appeal to the moderators to censor anything, rather I am appealing to the users to use some honor system kind of judgement about what they post as far as how "the rules" may or may not apply to the content, as well as to please try to keep it interesting, which is also stated in the home page here.

I know why what censorship that does occur here is non-linear and the rules are not unilaterally enforced; there isn't people and time for that. But that doesn't stop me from bitching about why is this pulled and that isn't kind of crap. If it is not possible to do a proper job of enforcing the rules then perhaps the task should be abandoned and we the users should do a better job of policing our own selves. I think we should anyway. There are LOTS of funny and sexy pictures I see on the `net that I'm sure other Plus users might like but I don't post them here because they are already all over hell and back out there.

As far as what constitutes adult content or not, come ON! Quit pretending. Everyone knows the Dick or Treat pic intent and it is not art or science and none of us would send our kid out trick or treating in that getup. I don't point shit like that out because I personally have a problem viewing it or want it censored. Please get that through your heads. That is NOT my point.

I don't know how to make myself any clearer about it.
