Though the response is humorous, the comment in black was I believe more
so.
I would further have to say that the OP was likely frustrated and cared not that
his comment of failure should have been directed at the machine, not the
candy.
Ultimately I would have to side with the commenter, and ask what function did
the licorice fail to perform?
