After 200,000 miles it was just getting broke in. I never had but one problem witht he car, my wife drove it.

point was: It's not a Honda, Toyota, Subaru or any other import. It was a GM product and a damn good one. Like the last 5 I have owned. 1,000,000 + miles and low cost of ownership. I will continue to buy GM for the same reason. They are good affordable vehicles.
(OK it was made in cananda, Damn imports!)

Coming from a country with no domestic car industry (i.e. all our vehicles are imports) I would put American cars third out of Asian, European and American cars. For us asian cars are cheaper (less distance to freight them plus lower cost of manufacture) and European cars are generally made so much better and have more refinement than American cars (I am talking generalities here and realise that there are always exceptions to the rules). I drive a Honda and it's the 5th one I have owned. Quality of manufacture, good specification and exceptionally reliable engines!

i'm a Ford man, had 2 GM cars, both for less than 2 months, totaled both. (Vette & a Z-34 Lumina)
