it should read "Infantry, so easy a cave man can do it", it may
surprise an inbred bottom feeder such as yourself anonymous, that many soldiers
actually pursue outside education, either through online colleges, or they
actually attend satellite college classes at the education building on
whatever post they happen to be assigned to. Many soldiers have attained
bachelor as well as masters degrees in at least one if not two or more areas,
you sir, would do well to show them respect as they are obviously your
intellectual superiors. considering the fact that you do not strike as the type
of person to have made in further than the 9th grade.You don't have to support
the current war in IRAQ, but it would do you well to support the soldiers both
past and present who fought for the freedoms you have today, including the
freedom of speech which you so lightly abuse.Crawl from the steps of your dimly

To those who would criticize US soldiers for doing their jobs "like
well-trained dogs" I would like to pose a question:
What do YOU do for a living? Do you not follow your boss's orders "like a
well-trained dog?" In other words -- we all do what we are told -- unless
we are independently wealthy business owners, and even then, there are laws and
societal rules that we have to live by.
To demean the military for doing their jobs is completely hypocritical. You
forget that military orders come from the government that idiots like YOU elect.
So basically, the American public is the military's ultimate
"boss."

Who said I looked down on them? I never once went off on "the
soldiers", the ones that never question anything, now that is a problem,
did you ever see the video with Katrina, hate to break it to you but this IS in
the USA, just a start, do you agree with other countries laws, for instance, you
walk down to city hall and say "the holocaust never happened" (not my
opinion) then you get arrested and go to jail for a coupla years, it is only a

days. No soldier has seen real combat since Vietnam. That means soldiers would
have 30 years under their belt. Today's soldiers revel in the glory of past wars

Saddam was in power want democracy. These people are hated in Iraq.
If a person chooses the military and they allow themselves to be used to do
illegal things (Iraq) then they should quit. If they continue forward with the
illegal act then shame on them. Many who have been injured in Iraq now realize
the macho and pseudo-patriotic rhetoric is never going to fix their injuries.
They also realize that they are an expendable commodity. Another person will
take their place. That is the real depressing idea for them to realize.
Did
it matter ? The answer since 1945 as far as american citizen's freedom is a
resounding NO!
Who's freedom does the modern US soldier protect ? It isn't american citizens.
It seems the modern soldier is really about protecting the freedoms foreigners.
Protecting most foreigners does not help US citizens either. So what the F are

The 60s were a different time. Americans finally found out what their military
was doing outside of the country. Prior to that it was all a mystery.
Too bad that military brass allowed search and destroy missions that were being
reported back to americans. If these military brass had done it by the book and
honorably then vietnam vets would have been welcomed back as heroes.
This is precisely why the Iraqi vet may not be treated well now. Military brass
are more concerned with covering up military mistakes rather than making damn
well sure they never happen. Yes they all can be prevented up front with
training and planning.
There is nothing wrong with a former servicemen that demands honor in current
servicemen. Honor means reporting orders to search and destroy in civilian areas
as illegal. Committing a violation of the Military code to satisfy your superior
officer is unacceptable and should be punished harshly.
Too many soldiers think they should get a free pass to kill anything that moves
in civilian areas. The code says no.
So I say, what is wrong with you, that you give people that jeopardize your
honor as a servicemen a free pass ?
