Not a very picturesque shot with the power poles and gate but seeing this deer and it's friend crossing this Florida Power and Light grade was how I knew where to look to get the pic I posted just previous to this one. I'd spent an hour creeping through a patch of woods where I'd seen the south ends of north bound deer a couple of times before, hoping to this time see them before they saw me and get a good photo, but had no luck. Out of time and on my way back to the car the two deer just happened to cross the grade in front of me without noticing me.
