Those ones come indoors to dump their babies.
When you first see them they look all fat and fuzzy.
Next day there are 100 mini versions all over your ceiling!

What is the actual average size (diameter) of one of these woberto? I'll give ya one thing, you cats down there have some of the most bizarre species of a lot of things along with many that simply don't exist elsewhere at all eye

Those are 10 inches max and the more common Huntsman Spiders are similar. But usually they are only 4-5 inches across and are quite harmless.
We do have however a spider called the Bird Eating Spider which females reach 2 feet tip-to-tip and the males up to 16 inches. They don't eat birds very often however...
FD, they recently found a jawbone from an ancient Wombat estimated to be 4 meters long!
