Your happy with the thought that it all ends after this. I live my life with a
purpose, faith, and hope and you mock my belief. Nothing better to do, what a
wonderful life. Tell me if you don't have religion do you have hope or faith or
is there even a purpose to life. Please write a book and share all of your
wisdom, we need a good laugh also.

Hmmm .... an unusual perspective Duane. The question that begs to be asked
from your above espousals is that IF you had no religion to believe in it would
seem you could also not possibly have hope or purpose in your life ????
If this is true I honestly feel great sorrow for you, as without it (religion)
you could not seemingly be a whole or complete person, at least by your own
statements.
I feel quite whole, complete and purposeful without religion in my life. I don't
require any form of external validation to feel these things. My life is quite
full and for the most part content without the meetings,tithings or other
associations required in following some imaginary characters philosophical
diatribe.
I suppose it works for you though, and that's cool

Ah, Mrkim and fossil....I can beg to differ, and will side with duane on this
one. I don't necessarily feel bound by religion, nor adhere to any one ideology,
but I do take great comfort in the idea that whatever powerful forces created or
allowed the evolution of all the remarkable things around us, also gives us a
purpose for being here in the first place. I do not condemn people who believe
otherwise, nor should you condemn or mock people who choose to have faith.

True, I have no ill feelings toward athiests. I just don't like being mocked.
If your happy that makes me happy, I think your both fine people. You can
believe what you want and the same for me, something great about this country. I
can't see Jesus wanting me to twist your arm. Don't confuse me with organized
religion which I consider a money making scheme. They want converts for tithe
lol.

But .... I think your personal perspective seems to have clouded the issue a bit
buddy.
To one who does not believe in a "higher power" the above pic is
simply humorous. No malice, no condemnation or mockery .... just humor.
To anyone who would view the above pic and find it offensive let me extend a
personally held ideology regarding such things. No one can have responsibilty
for how anything is percieved in the mind of another. That perception is owned
wholly by the one making it, and whether understod as such or not, is a choice
and a decision to do so, shaped completely within their own psyche
