I guess from his last post he was at the hearing as his photo was used and the guy was fined 100k for being drunk

$100K US (equivalent) ? Is that right? They sure frown on drunk driving in Japan by the sounds of it.

Maybe the fine is worse if you smash the vehicle up. ?
