I agree, dudes funny and picks on everyone. If your message is hatred as a
comedian people don't think its that funny and you loose sales. If you
understand his comedy hes just reflecting what people are saying anyway. He just

Carlos Mencia is awful. Nearly every one of his jokes is a retread of
something that Richard Pryor (or some other comedian) has said before.
Mencia is a one-trick pony who has to make every joke about race -- and his fans
seem to think he is so original. (My guess is that most of them are very young
and have never seen really great stand-up comedians in their prime -- like
Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Rodney Dangerfield, Steve Martin, etc.)
And there are many other modern comedians who are much more funny and clever
than Mencia -- Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Sean Cullen and Jim Gaffigan -- to
name a few. Check out some of their stuff on youtube.com. Then, try and tell
anyone that Mencia is good by comparison.

What are you talking about, ShaDez? Chapelle has been back for ages. He just
needed to get away for awhile, and he took an extended trip to Africa.
The beaureacrats at Comedy Central were trying to turn his show into another
mediocre piece of crap, and Dave wouldn't put up with -- not for any amount of
money.
And just because Richard Pryor is dead doesn't mean that Mencia can steal all
his old material and act lie he invented it.
I wouldn't pay a dime to see Mencia. When his show comes on, I immediately turn
on something else. He's lame.
