Bet all you whingeing Yankee cunts would change your mind about your fucked up gun culture if enough of you lost your own family members in a gun massacre.
Stupid cunts.

Hear hear Mr Kim. they don't understand what it means to live in a nation with rights. If the 2nd amendment is abolished, how long before the 1st is removed?

Don't understand what it is to live in a nation with rights?

Seriously you're a sanctimonious fuck sometimes.

One day maybe you should take a step outside, perhaps travel around, see the world.

As far as the rest of the world minding its own business - maybe one day, when the USA starts to do that, the rest of the world will too.

I've never, nor will I ever stick my nose in the business of Oz or any other countries politics, constitution, or laws, for one simple reason ... it's none of my damned business how the rest of the world runs their parts of it, no matter whether I agree or disagree with what they do.

Conversely why in the fuck do people from else where feel they have the right or place to try to impose their thoughts on how we conduct ourselves within our own fuckin border.

For my $$ every single one of you people livin outside our shores and even those living here as legal immigrants can all just PISS RIGHT THE FUCK OFF the

Yep. I don't care what you do; if you guys want to shoot yourselves, be my guest. I just think the whole gun culture is pathetic. I also think lots of things are strange about English, Canadian, Irish, <insert country here> culture is weird. The arguments "pro" gun though are as weak as piss.

But yeah; I don't care what you do. I just love to see Americans grand standing about how great they are when there's absolutely nothing special about the place compared to anywhere else. There's an awful lot of countries I'd live in before the US (and I've had a couple of jobs now try to relocate me there, so it's not like I don't have the chance).

i'm confused on how wanting and needing to protect your home and family against people who want to do you harm is weak as piss, but hey, you guys have kangaroos, and we all know what's up with that. smiling

I believe it was a cash offer (higher than the value of the guns) when it was done here. Also surprisingly we're not yet in a dictatorship.

That'd cost you guys about 3x your GDP though smiling

Oh wait, and who paid the people for their guns when they bought them? Oh yes, that was the govt, right?

But wait a minute, in the reality I know and live in, the govt doesn't make or sell any products at a profit meaning all the $$ they have is actually what they 1st relieve the people of in the form of taxes.

Hmm, so let's look at this in another light then. You cats sold your weapons to the govt, who 1st took your own $$ and agreed to over pay the value of what they bought from you (with your own money). So essentially, you 1st paid retail for your weapons, then paid retail plus an upcharge for them again?

Ok edit time, I was all caught up in the moment: You paid retail, then the govt (using your own $$) paid you back at above retail value. So in reality you actually paid retail for them and then gifted them to the govt., since the $$ they overpaid you was a wash.

Ok, all I have is a solid WoW (*facepalm*)

And I'd pay to do it again tomorrow.

Firearm massacres in Australia in the 10 years before 1996; 14.
Firearm massacres in Australia after 1996 Port Arthur massacre prompting the gun buyback; none.

And it's not like nobody has guns. My brother in law has one. My father in law has one. People in the countryside who need them for pest control, sport shooting etc; it's relatively straightforward to get them. I guess the main difference is a rifle or shotgun is capable of performing those roles. An M16 isn't really necessary.

I don't really see why you'd need one in the city at all. Then again our cities aren't full of idiots with guns.

Anyway, as I've said; I don't care what you guys do. Go USA.

If you don't care what we do here then why are you trying to convince us we should ban our guns?

I'm not trying to convince you of anything. I said it's pathetic and I'm fucking glad things are different here.

You guys knock yourselves out, make it as easy as you want. But you don't need machine guns to defend your family.

Down Under is on my Bucket List. I love a good beach.

BTW, Yankee Cunts of the greatest generation are the reason why the national language of Australia is still English instead of Japanese. And why today you are not China's bee-atch.

Forgive me. I just wanted to say something truly senselessly inflammatory for a change, in the spirit (or lack thereof) of Fat Aussie Bastard. There.
OK, I'm back to normal now.

I hope there are no more gun massacres in Australia, ever. And, I'm sure that your law enforcement has planned accordingly and their response time approaches instantaneous. But, because you have not had one does not mean that there will not be one in the future.

...and you are a softer target.

Hmm? Where was showing IPs?

Code hasn't changed for a long time, so not sure what would've happened. It doesn't log real IPs anyway (long story with the load balancers that are in use).

The IP's were just to the right of the contributor's name, where the "Report This Comment" would normally be. I'm not sure if the [X] was present or not. It displayed the 1st 3 IPv4 octets but the last octet displayed as dashes: 123.456.789.--- <<<this of course is not a real address.
Next to your name however, was the word "Moderator". No IP. I was viewing the site using Google Chrome.
At 1st I thought you guys might have made some changes, for god knows what reason. Then I checked other posts to see if they also had displayed IP's, but that was not the case. I had refreshed quite a few times and the IPs were still there. But after I made my 1st comment I refreshed again, and it displayed as it usually does.
If the last octet would have displayed that would have REALLY freaked me out. I'm kind of big on privacy. So, even people knowing my general location and provider is a little troubling, but not devastating.
I will continue to try to replicate this and get a screen capture,

No problems thanks

As mentioned though it's not YOUR IP that it would show anyway, but the IP address of the load balancer you've come from. We use cloudflare for DDoS protection, so all IPs logged are Cloudflare IPs not your ISPs addresses.

Weird though. Haven't seen that before
