Donald Sutherland's an extremely talented actor, one of the best of his generation. Few others can deliver such soft spoken lines with the power he brings to his dialogue, always laying out each syllable with perfect emphasis and inflection, truly gifted.

I do hafta wonder though, what it is that leads actors, actresses and musicians to believe their political thoughts are of interest to others

In Hollywood you have to support the liberal viewpoint or hide the fact that you are conservative if you want to continue working. Has anyone ever heard of an A list actor who is still getting parts in major pictures or shows who voice a conservative viewpoint?
