Lemme borrow a few lines by XTCs Andy Partridge from the song "Dear God":

"I won't believe in heaven and hell. No saints, no sinners, no
devil as well. No pearly gates, no thorny crown. You're always
letting us humans down. The wars you bring, the babes you
drown. Those lost at sea and never found, and it's the same the
whole world 'round. The hurt I see helps to compound that
Father, Son and Holy Ghost is just somebody's unholy hoax,
and if you're up there you'd perceive that my heart's here upon
my sleeve. If there's one thing I don't believe in

it's you.... "

In grokking the concept in fullness, the above is just a good start, but a definite primer at least.

Also there, their and they're is one of many of my annoyances with people and spelling. Can't stand it when people get them wrong

Similarly one of my pet peaves is the pervasiveness of spelling and grammatical errors that have become so glaringly common in news reporting. When you hafta read between the lines to even surmise what's being said that's a truly sad statement on the level of professionalism within the journalistic community :>/

That's not a scientist, he's a former standup comedian/actor who plays one on TV. He passed an audition to be called The Science Guy. There are a couple of real scientists that could be used to support this a bit better. How about Faraday, Eccles, Planck, Pasteur, Heisenberg, Kelvin, or that guy Einstein. Wait a minute... they believed in God.
