They are afraid of being proven wrong for all those years. Pot is no worse than booze.

I have to say just 6-8 years ago I never thought weed would be legal in my lifetime.

Colorado had budgeted for a $40,000,000 profit on the first legal year and came out with, $50,000,000.... now they have to jump through hoops to find out what to do with the extra.... I know, no real hoops, but funny. After that, other states (politicians) mouths are watering profusely.

a CLASSIC.....

Mach, I don't know who you think you were talking to but I have always been in favor of legalizing pot.

Recently with legalization in several states you have come out in support of legalization one other time that I've noticed, but in the not too distant past you have said you never use and don't condone using it because it is illegal.

You are wrong, I never said any such thing because I have used it in the past, in the late 70s. I might have said I don't condone using it because it is ,or was, illegal as I don't condone doing anything illegal. But most likely I was talking about other harder drugs and not pot. I have never opposed the legalization of pot because I believe, and have always believed, it is no different than booze so it should have the same controls as booze.

Yeah sure. I call backpedaling BS.
So you don't condone breaking the law, eh? What about not wearing a seatbelt?

I do it but I don't condone it.
