Cable technology supports approximately 30 Mbps of bandwidth, whereas most
forms of DSL cannot reach 10 Mbps.

Vdsl2 with vectoring can do 100mbps at a distance of around half a mile.
Cable with docsis3 should be capable of 200mbps but still with pathetic upstream

Not really following the whole NBN thing here.
All I know is I got great service interstate but now that I'm back in the
suburbs of Sydney it's kinda crappy.
