Unfortunately Grandpa the American people have their eyes wide shut and will never believe any of it. He was elected because people didn't want to be seen as racist and now the poor people just want to get some of the rich people's money and they think he will do it for them. I am poor but I do not believe I am entitled to any money belonging to someone else.

I am poor too and I don't want anything I haven't earned either, but I expect to be able to reap the benefits of programs that I paid into fair and square and that I have coming to me.

They can quit trying to rob the rich and leave my social security alone, I paid into it for years and I do deserve to get some of it back.

I have no problem with taking back from the rich who have robbed us in the 1st place.

then you would have no problem with the government robbing you under the same pretence. this is the logic that needs the shit kicked out of it.

So I guess if you work real hard and become rich you have no problem with being robbed and your money being given to the poor? I am sure that when you become rich you will voluntarily give some of your money to charity but at least that way you have some say in where it goes but if the government takes it you have no say in where it goes.

What is the matter with you? You can't read? I said the ones "who robbed from us in the first place." I didn't say ALL the rich but you'd have to be completely out of touch with reality to not know that many rich people and corporations have been stealing from us all along. You guys bitch about it all the fucking time yourselves. They stole our jobs and sent them to China. They took bailouts from the government. They stole our homes. They rip us off for gas prices and food prices. Call it what you want to but it is robbery. And fuck your "logic" Fossil. It's called Justice, an attempt to make right what was wronged.

then what is your answer to JG's question?

clarity is not your strong suit. (*facepalm*)

His question is irrelevant; it has nothing to do with what I said in the first place, which was very clear and I even emphasized that for you reading comprehension challenged people.

You have no room to complain concerning clarity.

running off at the mouth about every post under the sun is NOT clarity, it's comical at best.

How will the government differentiate between those rich who earned it honestly and those who "stole" their riches from the masses? They are only using an income limit to take more from the rich which doesn't care how they made their money. Yes we do complain about oil companies making too much money from high gas prices but we only want them to bring the prices down, we are not saying to take more money out of their pockets. Lowering the prices would keep more money out of their pockets and in ours but not take what they already have. If the government increases taxes on the rich it will not go back to the people and the corporations will not feel anything, they will merely raise prices to compensate for the increase. In class warfare everyone loses.

If we are able to differentiate then the government can too. It does occur when it suits the goals of those in power.

as long as our own elected officials are in bed with big business, there will never be any sort of justice.

The only thing the government could do would be to try and force cheaper gas prices that would be the only thing which would actually help everyone across the board.
