It is incredibly insulting to call the people who have worked for and earned their benefits freeloaders too.

Hey blah, I speak for myself and many others I come in contact with daily, though I'd never attempt to speak for you as your liberalist entitlement perspective is one I could never grasp, much less "speak for".

Before you layout one more line about what anyone owes you or about what you should then be entitled to, lemme just ask .... want some cheese to go with that whine?

I know we're close to the same age, but just for a reference point, I'm 56. Been workin since I was 15 and expect to do so until I drop. I've paid in for 41yrs now and know I'll continue to do so.

In my working career I've gone great damage to my body and live with aches and pains every fuckin day and you know what .... I still get my ass up every day and go to work, not because I LOVE my job, but because I believe it's important to support myself and because I don't want a god damned thing from the fuckin government but to be left alone.

And before you start in on how "justified" you are in sittin on your ass every day and how you're "entitled" to that check that hits your bank account every month for sittin on your ass while millions of the rest of us get up and join the daily grind so that damned check you get will clear ever month, lemme tellya I too am technically disabled, just like many more of us are.

I have a bad back that needs a second surgery, bursitis in both shoulders, tendonitis in both elbows, carpal tunnel in both wrists, both knees problee need rebuilding and in all likelihood I should have a hip replacement, none of which can I afford to have done.

While you might think with all that goin on I'd be all for gettin that damned Obozocare started so I could sit back and let others pay for my shit, afterall, I've been payin in for a long time and I should get what's mine right?

The short and sweet of it again is all I want from the government is to be left the fuck alone. Left alone to do as I please, when and where I please and with whom I please. That means I don't need some bureaucrat telling me which doctor to see, when I will be able to see them, nor making any decisions about what type or level of treatment I'll be receiving.

I also don't need to sully my dignity every time I go to the fuckin grocery store by presenting the clerk with a damned food stamp card. I pay cash or use my debit card because I WORK for a livin and don't hafta whine about how anyones owes me anything.

You know what else that means? It also means I can buy any damned thing I want when I go to the store, EVERYTHING is on MY list because I get to decide what I want, not have some agency or their minions decide for me about what I can and can't or shouldn't buy. Try takin your food stamp card to the liquor store and lemmekno how well that works for ya.

There are things I was taught to have a reasonable expectation of in regards to the relationship between myself and the US govt. I was always told I was entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, though I also understood that pursuit part was solely my responsibility to enable for myself as only the possibility of such pursuit was my right, certainly nothing like a guarantee of anything but a personally generated possibility.

In summation, the whole entitlement mentality people like yourself cling to has done more to undermine our countrys prosperity and push us past the precipice of national bankruptcy than any other factor regarding our economy, so from one working poor American, here's a big "Thanks dill weed" for doin your part star wars fighting

And not to forget little wolfie ...

Thanks again for regaling us with more of your always concise libspeak, espoused in the truest sense, as always, totally devoid of intellect, wit or even a point put forth with anything more than a 5th grader could garner. Then again, I could never expect anything less from you, therefore you certainly never disappoint (*facepalm*)

And thanks to the govt coercing my employer into paying unemployment insurance along with also having to bankroll the govts agencies that take their cut and then payout to the unemployed in the process, my employer also has less funds to pay ME and give ME more benefits, nevermind it also drains away precious operating or expansion capital at the same time that hurts overall employment as they then have fewer jobs to offer to anyone else,

It's quite obvious you don't have a clue how business and taxes work. People pay taxes, businesses don't. Businesses just pass the governmentally imposed taxes on to their customers, so their customers and consumers, who are are people, then actually pay the taxes, not the companies (*facepalm*)

If believing those bad old money grubbing companies, the same ones that give jobs to PEOPLE, are the ones who pay taxes helps you rest easier at night, I guess there's some value in that. Just don't expect those sniggling economic realities to simply vanish into thin air because of your deluded concepts of how it all works, 'cause that definitely won't be happening drinking smiley

Not everything is an entitlement program. Disability is not an entitlement like food stamps or welfare, it is only in the fact that I worked for years paying in through my taxes so that I can get my check now that I am blind. Now believe it or not I make too much money to get any welfare program or food stamps, I guess my tan is not dark enough for those. Mr Kim if you are in such bad shape physically you are truly entitled to disability because of all the years you have paid in and should not be ashamed to get a check. I felt the same way in the beginning but I was reminded of all the taxes that were taken out of my check for all those years and now I believe the money belonged to me anyway.

JG, that is why I put "entitlements" in quotes. You and I may not view them the same as politicians do. Regardless I've worked my ass off since I was 14 and paid my taxes so any government benefits I might qualify for, whether "entitlements" or not, have been bought and paid for as far as I am concerned.

Yeah yeah, whatever. You know the Democratic Party's agenda. Did you expect any of that to change? I saw no mention of treaties involved and I suspect that is bullshit talk but no matter, you wouldn't get the facts straight anyway. The Dems are going to push for background checking on gun owners and maybe that's not such a bad idea anyway. Any law abiding citizen owning firearms should have nothing to be worried about anyhow. I think the point is to keep the guns out of the hands of people who are going to use them for the wrong reasons. That seems like something that would benefit all of America.

I already admitted I was wrong so shut up already.

Now it is your turn to admit you are wrong, but you won't. Your ego would not permit such a thing.

Office for Disarmament Affairs is within the UN, doesn't quite qualify as a "we have" and all they are trying to do is help keep illicit arms trading from happening.

OFFICE OF WEAPONS REMOVAL AND ABATEMENT is only concerned with raising awareness of existing laws and violations regulating certain types of arms that no one in America has a need for anyway. You don't need landmines and portable rocket launchers and automatic weapons to go hunting or to protect your family. Maybe in some other country but not in the USA. Still, their purpose is to help limit illicit arms trade. What is wrong about that?
