That is a Siemens 2.3 MW Wind Turbine Generator, around 80 meters high and 108 meters rotor diameter. we're putting about a 100 of them in Ocotillo, southern CA drinking smiley

Siemens is a German company. This pic is of a factory in Iowa; TPI Composites, Inc., based in Arizona but has at least three manufacturing facilities in other countries; Mexico, China and Turkey... At least they are providing SOME American jobs.

The Siemens blades I could look up are 153 ft in length so they must be hauling them in sections since truck trailer lengths are restricted to much shorter than that (around 83 feet I think). Feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.

they use special trailers or two separate trailers...have seen them hauled, full length, two at a time side by side
