That's a shame. And you said you THINK you totaled it? Strut tower brace looks ok though.

That can be rebuilt easy enough but it would never be the same. I doubt insurance would bother fixing this one but you never know in the current economic climate.

Wasn't this back in August or September? Are you sure it was hydroplaning and not an oil slick?

Oh. Sorry. I misread dates on other pic comments and just thought you were taking a long time to post the pics. My brain is mush right now with a cold. Yeah, that's the ticket...

puttin' down the highway doing 60-63 in the pouring down rain in the right lane when she slid at a 45 degree angle to the lane i was in, i cranked it left trying to compensate...not a flinch...then back to the right...nothing...back to the left....nothing...then i hit the grass and mud off the shoulder...down a slight dip in the muck and BLAM!! into a 25-30 foot concrete wall at the same 45 degree angle. the back end came around and tagged the wall and i slid 50 yards or so down the shoulder in between the wall and a "next exit giant sign missing both by (it looked like) a foot on either side coming to a stop facing the highway. i can't believe i didn't flip a million times as well as died.
