this is one of the most beautiful places. hell the whole pacific n.w.! but crater lake is........really nice.

Tahoe's beautiful, too...except for all the bullshit hotels, retail garbage and McMansions everyone decided to build there.

agree, Tahoe is also EXTREMELY beautiful also. heavenly valley is the coolest place to ski i think I've been (10+ times). ski Nevada all day and eat lunch in California.....cool! the next day ski Calif. all day and eat lunch in Nevada...awesome!

Man, that would be awesome. Wish I could stay on my skis long enough to keep from hurting myself. I usually cruise through there once a year during my stays in Reno for the Hot August Nights cruise- in, and the Air races. End up hiking trails and taking pictures...travelling light by motorcycle makes it even more fun.

beautiful place but blue color definately enhanced... Wait. No it's not. I need to get out of the city.
