The source may be valid but I doubt that picture is. There are more believable allegedly rendered pictures out there of the CAT scan they did at the hospital.

I can't believe that people are accepting this photo as real and that it's being passed off by the news services as such. Anyone who knows anything about internal human anatomy knows that this would only be possible if the pouches were surgically implanted in a cadaver.

There are some other shots from the front that are more believable and look like the entire digestive tract is chock full but I even doubt those. I just don't think it is possible for a human being to jam that much stuff inside.

I'm not sayin' someone couldn't hold 1.82 pounds of whatever in their stomach, hell, I can eat a whole large pizza myself, but the human body just doesn't do things the way this picture portrays it. The stomach stretches, but doesn't completely fill the thorax. Even if this were possible the person would have suffocated from lung compression or had cardiac arrest from heart compression, this after the stomach exploded and filled the chest cavity with it's contents which is the only way this photo would be possible, and stomachs don't actually explode from overfilling - you puke long before that could happen.

Since when is a PHD required to have common sense and rudimentary understandings of physics and human anatomy?

Not to mention an MD would apply here better than a PHD.

Does anyone really believe their is nothing inside the body but stomach? No heart liver pancreas small intestines large intestines or anything else?

another view...
look all I'm saying is all you guys that immediately say the human probably can't do that are being somewhat ignorant..just because You can't do something doesn't mean others can't...the human body is capable of some really incredible things, swallowing a bunch of pellets being one of the least of these things, ya know organs do move..
and it doesn't take PhD, MD, or FU to figure any of this out spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

That is one of the more believable shots I was talking about. The first one I think someone shopped a lot of extra red blobs into. Just my opinion and can't prove it either way. I agree that organs do move around and all that, just that 1st pic really seems excessive. It could just be because of the angle of the shot too.

The other view is better because you can see other organs and the pellets seem to be following the intestine tract. Would have been better to use the second pic instead of the first one. I agree the first does look added to and that it could be the angle. All the CT scans I have seen though were in black and white, didn't know they could do color. Dodn't know magnetic waves could distinguish colors.

You are confusing MRI with CT scan which is a common mistake. A CT scan uses x-rays and color x-ray imaging is possible. I don't know how widely used it is though.

The second view looks more plausible but I'm still not buyin' it that anyone was that full of stuff, a completely packed alimentary canal. At the very least he'd have to have his asshole sewn shut.
