I read that, I found their definition of "Survived" to be interesting. Sure it rang when called so the main board survived but the glass on both sides would be shattered along with the screen (which is bonded to the glass) and I'm 99% sure the main outer frame would be bent as well making it unrepairable. My buddy had an old Motorola flip and he dropped it at a car meet. We found it after searching the field and it had been run over at least once. Hing was broken and screen was shattered but it still rang if you called it. He was still buying a new phone the following week.

Several years ago i had a Sony Ericsson P900.. fell out of my pocket when I got into the car, it was raining and I drove over it. Picked it up about 20 mins later when I'd realised it was missing, it rang and you could still use the speed dial function of the buttons but that was it.

Likewise, bought a new phone the next day. The guy at Vodafone was suitably impressed at just how damaged it was.

Edit: Interestingly though, it looked in worse condition than this iPhone. But that said I also felt as I took off the rear wheels slipped a bit. I assumed it was because of some water and I'd taken off a touch fast, but I'm pretty sure I spun the wheels on it smiling

I dropped my Iphone when getting in my pickup and my wife drove over it. The when we got out of range of the bluetooth my headset beeped and I knew it didn't have my phone. We went beck and found my phone and it was still in perfect working order because it was in an otterbox defender series case. Only a couple of small scratches on screen. I am a firm believer in phone protection and my current iphone 4 resides in otterbox.

But not all protection is 100% perfect,
my friend was wearing a condom,
but got run over by a bus!!(*facepalm*)

Well condoms are only rated at 99% effective. Your cousin was just unlucky enough to be among those 1%, I am sorry.

A woman goes to her doctor with a bit of lettuce hanging out of her pussy. Doc say's 'that looks nasty'. She say's 'Nasty?, it's just the tip of the iceberg!
