The funny thing about earthquakes is it has no sense of politics. Natural disasters don't care about what people did in the past. I am probably older than most of you at 60 which puts me closer to WWII and I don't hate the Japanese for what their emperor did. That earthquake could have happened on the other side of the ring of fire just as easily. It may yet happen. Don't get me wrong, I don't care even a little bit about the loss of life there or anywhere else but my feeling has nothing to do with WWII. Death is simply a natural part of life and it has to happen to everyone. Even if that happened here to someone close to me I would feel the same, a little sad but accepting. Maybe if it happened to north Vietnam I would feel more gratified but I even doubt that. Life and death I have seen it all and cause it all so it is basically all the same to me.

It's close, but I think the biggest retard pictured is Dustin Wolaver. Despite his opinions, essentially being correct, yeah it was wrong to joke about such an incident, his unwarranted sense of self importance means that I would break the dudes legs were I ever to meet him. Cunt.

Hi Dustin!!! smiling

The toll continues to rise.
But it probably won't exceed the number of Japanese that commit suicide each year.
They've got problems and it's only getting worse now.

Japan has the problems now but next it could be us. I only hope that if the reactors go Chernoble(sp) the wind will shift and carry everything towards Korea and China.

Karma? Payback? Interesting the country that says muslim countries are dangerous with nukes is the only country to ever use the A-bomb in warfare.

Fucking low cunts all people of the USA are for cheering on the death of the Japanese.

What have Jason et al learned about life?
1. If you're stronger and more aggressive you'll probably win.
2. If you believe you are in the right you can destroy those who you believe aren't.
3. Showing any compassion makes you a tree hugging hippie homo.

Now where do you think they got those ideas from?

Some days, it is truly embarrassing to be an American.

Karma? MAtthew & Jason, you clearly have no understanding of the word as posting this krap has really stacked the deck against yourself.

To bad the US Military didn't spend some of your time with them teaching you some common fuckin' sense.

Well I didn't really wish the wind will shift toward China but I would "hope" it go that way than towards us. I would wish they could get them under control for a best case scenario rather than a worse case scenario.

You are right, you should never carry a grudge for 50 years. Besides that the man who ordered the attack on Pearl Harbor is long dead. Don't blame the people blame the leader.

We'd all be speaking Japanese here in Australia if it weren't for a decisive end to WW2.
Probably.

I dare say a lot of people would be speaking Japanese but to hold a grudge against the people of Japan is just wrong. It was their emperor who did it not the people of Japan. I was born just 6 short years after the end and have no personal memory of the conflict and harbor no ill-will against the people of Japan. I do however harbor ill-will against the organization who attacked us on 9/11 because I was alive at that time. I also harbor ill-will against North Korea, North Vietnam and France.

None of that has anything to do with the Japanese people of today. I doubt very many of the people from WWII are still alive today.

I believe most Japanese are ashamed of their country's role in WW2. nobody should hold it against them except for the sake of internet humour of course.

Yamaguchi was the luckiest man in the world. To survive 2 nuclear bombs and live to the ripe old age of 93. I would say he was lucky and not unlucky in any way. If I live to the age of 93 I will consider myself lucky.
