Senator Rand Paul gives Letterman some facts and Letterman goes into instant denial.

Maybe we should start by releasing oil from our reserves then instituting a wage and price freeze so the people will have more money freed up to spend.

If CFR is so powerful then why didn't we convert to the Euro when Europe did? Maybe you should watch Fox News instead of CNN and the others. I quit believing in conspiracy theories years ago and my health has never been better.

I think Rand Paul for President is sounding better and better.

He doesn't even speak like a politician, he speaks like a logical human.

You may already know the answer, but, yes, both sides plans aren't shit. Hopefully some of you don't listen to your politicians and think that they are going to actually help you, they are just blowing smoke up your ass.

I remember past elections and all the common sense things that were put out during the process and after the elections in the past common sense went out the window when they all took office. What makes anyone think either Rand or Ron Paul would be any different. There is something about the atmosphere in White House that inhibits common sense in everyone. I guess the white House needs to install oxygen generators in the building because when people move in they lose their brains. Rand paul will be no different.

jgroin, gimme a fucking break, for someone that licked Bush/Cheney balls for 8 years, you are one of the last ones in line to talk about dishonest politicians... hell, why do you ever vote at all then?

If you don't vote for either of those gentleman up there then you have no guts, plain and simple. You know they are different and that is EXACTLY why you do nothing but put them down and talk shit about them, you are definitely against them being in any Office.... for some strange reason.

Sorry to disappoint but I do vote in every election. Most times I vote for lesser evils, sometimes I vote for whoever talks the way I feel but all the time I know that things change after they are elected. I don't really care what they say about our domestic issues because I know they will do whatever pays them the most but I will sway to whichever one wants to kick ass and take names overseas which is why I supported Bush. I will support anyone this time who wants to reinstate the draft and show the world we are not pushovers or pussies. anyone who believes everything a politician says during the election proscess needs to have his head examined. Just like Odamna all politicians will say anything that will get them elected and when in office they forget everything they said before.

But, that's my point, look at Ron Pauls record, whether you agree with him or not, he sticks to what he says, do I think that he can do whatever he wants whenever he wants in the Whitehouse? No, but I think he will at least teach Americans how to be at least a little more personally responsible for their comforts.

At the very least, we need someone in their like a "grandparent" that whips us into line, not like an immature "parent" that only worries about themselves over their own kids.... kinda thing.

You probably haven't heard it before, Ron Paul has actually stood there behind a podium on multiple occasions and told the audience that to really fix things, it's got to get worse before it gets better (and that was way back in 2007), that might sound like common sense to some, but that just goes to show that most Americans are just a bunch of self-centered brats, they don't even want to hear reality.

Just like Sen. Rand Paul says on that video up there, both sides are full of it... why does everyone want to wait until it gets so bad that everything collapses, that's what is happening, we are being led to the slaughter... comfortably.

Military spending alone has increased 120% ($$$) since 2001 alone, ah yes, 9/11.

Ron Paul made many predictions back in 2007, the housing collapse for instance, and people just ignored and/or laughed at him, well, now a lot of those people are hurting, get it?

I believe George Washington was the only candidate to serve as President, since then none have won an election. Without any support in Congress an Independent President would be no more than a figurehead.
