I think it was 200 buses that saved nobody in New Orleans..
and now they are going to the junkyard as salvage.

Why wasn't New Orleans evacuation plan put into effect early, to get those without transportation out using these buses in advance of the storm hitting? They knew it was coming? State and City governments were setting on their liberal asses. And lets watch them do their best to shift the blame. Bush was not the one to mobilize those buses and go and pick up poor people it was the mayors job and if he didn't do it then the Governor.

Anybody watched Sundays NBC "meet the depressed" with Tim Russert trying to pin the blame on the FEMA guy ???, he almost told him to bend over backwards to screw him - (arent reporters suposed to report the news, not make it)

FINALLY - someone I can understand. New Orleans is 80% black, the Mayor is black, the power structure is black - did the Mayor not know that 30% of his kinfolk were poor, didn't own cars, and couldn't afford plane/bus/train tickets. Me thinks he knew this.....
Should he have used school buses to get his brothern and sisterns out of harms way?

NO - let them all drown and move to other states after the storm. We can rebuild the city with only the wealthy African-Americans. With all them niggers gone, we can have a better city and - the best coop of all - WE CAN BLAME IT ON THE WHITE PRESIDENT!!!! hahahahah this is the greatest thing since white bread.

byline - to those that say this would have never been allowed to happen in a predominately WHITE city - YOU ARE 100% CORRECT - cuz they would have driven their Lexus's and Beemers straight out of town to their mountain homes in the plains.

If those blacks that were so mistreated had gotten their asses in those busses and loaded up their homies, you can bet your dollar they would be concidered heros today in stead of dead. If they would look out for someone else instead of themselvs once in a while, they would have easily saved all those left behind to die. 50 busses at even a paltry 30 people per bus would be 1500 people that would not have had to die. Instead they choose to sit and do nothing but shoot at whoever comes to help them. All I can say about those kind of people, even God has to flush the toilet once in a while. I feel badly for the inocent and disabeled who could not get out but those who didnot help those disabeled and inocent, God have mercy on your souls. You were right there. Even those of you who got to the superdome and bitched and whined because you didn't get enough of anything, who did you help along the way. The truth will be known eventually and you who ran out on those in the nursing homes and let those old and disabeled drown, I hope you get what you deserve.
