We all know that "diversity" is a race to the bottom. But NASA could not possibly go in for that shite.
Yes these people were chosen by a politician or a bureaucrat but all of them would far exceed any qualification for an astronaut.
It's a bit like choosing a supreme court judge in the US...
I am just surprised that they are not all exactly the same size and weight! You would think that having suits, chairs, beds etc all designed for a single body size/type would be the NASA way of doing things in such a small vehicle.
Anyway, this sort of stuff excites me (even thought it is fairly pointless to many people) and I for one will be following all he news and doco's about Artemis.
