Thankfully all the damned red light cams are now all but a memory here, finally.

Back in the 70s, pre-internet, there was a speed camera that didn fare too well in one of Dallas's suburbs. It got shot to hell or had cans of paint poured over it so many times the city got tired of paying for the repairs and abandoned the program
