I imagine there would be something wrong with all czars if they were investigated thoroughly and even the pres himself would be found guilty of much if investigation were allowed freely.

Mach, my views have changed on this government and it's destiny. I see the growth of government on both sides. Thomas Jefferson is starting to seem like he's living in our age. My question is where do we go from here. The Muslim extreme is unacceptable as I am Christian. The liberals have caused this country to lose heart or belief in itself. I think for myself but at the same time would like input from others to base my opinion on. The transition from Bush was out of the frying pan into the fire. I now dislike both sides. I wish Ron Paul had been a bigger factor in the race.

Bush is out of office now people so stop blaming him for everything. Odamna is in office now as is a democrat congress and senate so the blame for anything should fall on them. I have seen nothing good come from the current administration as yet and I am a registered democrat. With 12 trillion dollar deficit as of now how long before our economy becomes totally bankrupt. All you people who put these yahoos in office, and you know who you are, will be to blame when the shit hits the fan.

Ron Paul seemed like the only reasonable choice for a presidential candidate in 2008 as he backed ideologies in direct opposition to many of the inequities of the current system of government and would have sought to replace these inequities with a more Constitutionally based form of government. Sadly he also saw the handwriting on the wall and knew once he failed to win the Republican candidacy for the office that to have continued to moved forward as a 3rd party candidate would only have served as a distraction and never as a serious potential winner in the election.

While many people will say that the President is more of a figure head in the government and that the real power rests within the congress itself, while there is truth to that it would also seem obvious with the chenanigans that have occurred within the short span of the current administration that indeed the office carries more weight in having the ability to implement drastic changes than would seem to support such an assertion.

In truth the current administration as well as several previous ones have all subverted the intent of the Constitution by mandating changes to what powers the office in reality should hold and have sought and continue to seek additional powers not outlined within the Constitution and having done so have elevated the office to hold much more power than it was ever intended to.

Had Ron Paul been elected I feel the outlined principles he had mentioned during his campaign would have had a huge impact on our overall governance "if" he had been allowed to have carried out these ideologies and could well have moved us back to a much more logical course in adherence by the federal government to Constitutionally outlined parameters which at least would have returned some level of sanity to how the federal government operates.

The real problem Ron Paul would have faced in implementing these plans would have come from all the toes he would have stepped on in doing so as well as from all the agencies whom would have been dissolved as a part of that process. These people would never have just rolled over and accepted what he had planned and opposition would have been fierce from many fronts and just as surely multiple smear campaigns would likely have erupted in hopes of deriding any opportunity for success in implementing his goals.

But ... I still feel he was our only real hope for a return to reasonable governance by the fed sad

I am the guy that posted that 40 minute long Ron Paul 2008 Video that Mrkim watched and said he agreed with long ago.

The great thing about Ron Paul whether you like him or not is that his story doesn't change no matter what...

Edited speech from Ron Paul.

I have to say, I'm proud, I have people in my family that never heard the name Ron Paul before I brought it up long ago to them and now they know he is real.

Another thing, people seem so simple minded, they think because you say that that side over their sucks it means that you are for the opposite side, not true, don't play into it, make up your minds freely.

I posted these here before but watch them again.... great stuff.

How much power would Ron Paul have had under the democrat congress and Senate? Next year will be a determining factor of our fate in this country when the mid-term elections are held. I current incumbents continue to hold office after election then we are doomed as a nation.

Who is elected president is more of a gauge of how the people feel about the corruption. Voting for Ron Paul would send the message that status quo is no longer acceptable from both sides. Each party takes a little more and the other never gets it back they just figure out what they can take.

The only thing wrong with Ron Paul is, he's completely batshit crazy. Of course, so is Joe Biden, so I'm not saying that's an automatic disqualification. Joe Biden is also a retard, which Ron Paul clearly isn't. I said, a couple years ago, that maybe having a certifiable wack-job in the White House might just put the fear of Allah back in some of the goat-humpers around the planet. The very real possibility of getting vaporized is pretty sobering. They may want to go to Paradise and get their 72 virgins, and all, but not necessarily today. They certainly have no reason to fear Barry, unless it's getting a chapped ass from him kissing it so much.

Where's my Nobel, fuckers? I'm probably gonna do a bunch of cool stuff some day, too.

I should be getting TWO Nobels, actually. One for Economics, in addition to the Peace Prize. I have a brilliant plan to completely eliminate all poverty around the globe, which I'm pretty sure that dumb-ass liberals will even agree with:

Just give everyone a million dollars! It's too easy! If everyone's filthy rich, they can just buy whatever they want, and they don't have to go out and kill anyone to get it. I'm scary-smart, see? I totally figured this shit out in, like, not even five minutes. I can't believe no one else has figured it out by now.

By the way, is there a Nobel for some kind of environmental brilliance? Should be, because I've just about solved this whole "global warming" bullshit, too. I was watching this TV show, and there was some PhD from MIT explaining that, in a nuclear explosion, all that energy is generated by the conversion of mass, which I already knew. What I didn't know was, the amount of mass lost is roughly equivalent to the mass of a dollar bill. Having digested that fact, I have begun working on a reactor that will convert the entire mass of Al Gore into pure energy. If it works, America will have all the energy it needs for 100 years, and totally CO2 free! I don't want to give too much away, but it involves shooting him with extremely powerful laser beams in a plasma chamber, so even if it doesn't work, it's still a pretty good idea. Just drop a couple dozen of those around the planet and you're golden. There's no shortage of retarded celebrities to use for fuel.

No on e anywhere in the government is keeping track any spending the government is doing. Common snese dictates that the best way to improve the economy would be to give the money spent to the people of America to spend as we see fit. $9 trillion divided among every adult in America would be a huge chunk of change and most of us would spend it which would go back into the economy. If I had $30-40,000 in my hands it would not go into savings it would be gradually spent for survival because a savings would disappear if the economy went bankrupt. Trade goods would be the only thing which would survive a failed economy. Trade goods and theft deterrent.

No, MrKim, your opinions are clearly far more carefully researched and formed than Hannity's or Beck's. It was aimed at Hannity and the poster. Basically, most gay people admire Harry Hay as a pioneer for gay rights; and most gay people shun him for his support of the vile NAMBLA. To say that Jennings is a member or even supporter of NAMBLA because he admires Hay is like saying that if you like a John Wayne movie every now and then you must be KKK.
