OBAMA.....

"Apparently, if you have a President of the United States who happens to be Black, you may not criticize him. You may not point out discrepancies in his statements. You may not state the obvious. You may not disagree with him. You may not react to him with any emotion outside of sublime adoration. If you do any of these things, you will earn the epithet “racist!” After 232 years, a Black man has broken the so-called “glass ceiling” and is now the “leader of the free world”. But apparently, Black people are not equipped to handle criticism, even one who becomes a president of the US; therefore we must hold all attempts at freedom of thought until at least 2012. We might hurt the feelings of the current POTUS if we say anything that is honest.

Such sentiments are nothing more than Liberal patronization towards people who those Liberals, deep down inside, feel are inferior, and therefore must be protected by the nice superior Liberals for their own good. When a POTUS happens to be Black, he is still too inferior to stand on his own merit and needs ample Liberal protection of his feelings. Offenders who criticize him shall be labeled RACISTS, whether they are or not. Is this not, as George Carlin termed it, “Guilty White Liberal Racism“? The odd thing is, Conservatives (a group who consists mostly of White people) seem to have more respect for President Obama than Liberals do by expecting him to take the heat, as all the rest of the POTUSes before him have done, in spite of his race.

Jimmy Carter seems to be suffering from “Guilty White Liberal Racism”. We got it, Mr. Carter; you believe you are superior to President Obama, so much so that you believe he needs your protection and is unable to stand on his own, as you did. You deal with your inner conflict by projecting your beliefs outward onto other White people who express legitimate concerns. Then please explain, Mr. Carter, how some Black people agree with Joe Wilson that Obama must be held to the same ethical standards Americans have insisted upon from all previous presidents."

Well Hell Yeah!

2012 seems like an awfully long ways out from here. Just hope there's something left to save by then (*facepalm*)

2010 can ease the pain a bit if we dump all incumbents in congress and senate.

Voting for or against someone, solely based on them being the incumbent, is absurd. Who are they running against? Like any election, you have to vote for the person you think is the best candidate.

Now, it could be a tie-breaker. I can't remember this ever happening, but say there are two candidates who are essentially equal. Their only real differences are on issues you don't care about. Then, sure, toss out the bum and put the new person in. Would you rather have someone who did some things you disagree with, or someone with whom you will disagree on everything?

voting everyone out is not absurd. By replacing the entire congress and senate it will show our displeasure with their actions and send them a message that we will take action if we don't like what the new guys do in office. If you own a company and your employees are not doing their jobs properly and running your company into debt, do you keep them at their jobs or do you fire them all and start over? Congress needs term limits and they will never pass that law themselves so we need to do it ourselves and we can start by removing them all and starting fresh. Then if the new congress doesn't pass a limit law, we do it again in 4 years until they get the hint.
