The problem with Somalia isn't pirates, it is a collapsed economy being used by
various factions for profit and gain, if you want piracy in the region to stop
the best thing to do is to send peace-keeping force, establish a democratically
elected govt. and invest in infrastructure. Giive Somalia back their fishing
industry and stop treating them like criminals when they defend their sovereign
territory.

At the risk of commenting on the actual picture I was thinking about how that
life boat looked all sealed on top and harder to enter than a normal "open
top" boat would be, and how it would be easier to defend.
Those Navy Seals are really well trained and they snuk in there in the middle of
the night and did a great job. Also that captain seems really brave escaping
twice like he did knowing he can be shot and offering himself up as a hostage to
save the others. Either the man had a death wish or he is a true hero.
I think this whole story would make a great movie.
