that would be the Yengtze river in China. and they lost hundreds of archaeological sites under hundreds of feet of water. thumbs

Nah, I'm thinkin' about when they built the Aswan High dam. I'm pretty sure some ancient monuments that were set into hillsides had to be moved. I'll have to look into it.

I saw a commercial for some female contraceptive that claimed to be 99% effective. If I remember my statistics lessons correctly, that means if you fuck 200 times, you have a 100% chance of it failing at least once. Doesn't sound so good, when you turn it around like that.
